In March 28, 2006 I wrote an article (The Killing Fields) about the slaughtering of baby seals. Here’s a follow up on that article. By the way I still boycott Canada (all their export products). I hope a lot of people do and teach those retards a lesson! You can still sign the petition here. The DFO (Department of Fisheries and Oceans) announced on April 11, 2006 that sealers had so far killed 108,653 seals – 16,310 seals over the quota (there were no penalties for going over the quota)! The sealers (the men who are brave enough to kill a helpless creature) have already killed 329701 baby seals so far. And it even get’s better! The truth about the seal hunt will break your heart! Yeah, I would be real proud to be a Canadian – NOT! Lucky there are also Canadians who can think for themselves and react upon needless cruelty and commercial exploitation! On of those organizations is the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) founded in Canada in 1969.
