One More Thing…

WWDC 2006

At Apple’s annual WWDC 2006 conference on Monday morning at Moscone Center San Francisco, Steve Jobs shared his keynote presentation with two of his executives, leaving the stage whenever they took turns to get up and talk. It’s okay with me to give these folks some credits, but Phil is no Steve! After some market share grow figures, occasional Windows bashing (anyone noticed the nicely cleaned up Windows Logo?) ;-) introduction of the much anticipated Mac Pro and ten coming Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) features the show was over without the “one more thing…” Besides the not so exciting presentation I really missed the “X ingredient” the Steve “reality distortion field”. But hey! it’s a developer conference for peet sake! But what interested me the most was the way how Steve was looking, very thin and not so healthy, was he tired or worse sick? Two years ago Steve Jobs was treated for a very rare form of pancreatic cancer (islet cell neuroendocrine tumor)! This rare form can be cured if treated in time, as was the case with Steve. I hope everything is still okay!
