StarCraft 2 beta this month

The closed beta for StarCraft 2 is set to begin this month. The game itself set for release in the middle of 2010.
Thousands of players will be given access to the beta, across North America, Australia, Taiwan, Europe, New Zealand, and Korea. The beta will be used to generate buzz for the game’s release, and of course to test all the new features of the updated Battle.net.
Here are a few details on the updated Battle.net: Battle.net will be the place to play and experience all Blizzard games, giving gamers the ability to speak to each other across both World of WarCraft realms and even other games. If you’re playing StarCraft 2 and your friends are in the middle of a raid, you’ll be able to speak to each other. It will also be the place to buy games and add-on content for Blizzard releases.

I’ve been in anticipation of James Cameron’s new movie (shot using the Fusion Camera System technology) called Avatar which will be released on december 18th. James Cameron is a screenwriter, producer and director. He has written and directed films as: The Terminator, Rambo II, Aliens, The Abyss and monster hit Titanic.
In 2011 Cameron will be releasing Battle Angel a movie based on (one my favorite Cyberpunk Manga’s) the graphic novels of Yukito Kishiro Battle Angel Alita. So much for my mini-introduction to James Cameron.
Ubisoft and Cameron have been working closely on the game and the movie and just like the movie the game will be available in 3D on november 26.
Earth’s resources are depleted and mankind is looking for alternatives. Their mind is set on Pandora a moon in a galaxy far far away. As RDA soldier you’re roaming the green jungles of Pandora for new sources of energy and alternative resources. The Na’vi’s, the native population, isn’t fond of the humans claiming their home planet and a war is started…
This game is going to be part of my game collection and I’ll write a review later about it!

Prototype comic

A secret war is about to take place in New York. First below the media radar, later a deadly infection runs completely out of control and the government seizes the media to stop the spread of information. By this time New York City is under quarantine as martial law is installed, Project Blackwatch is in effect.
In this firestorm of combat, carnage and death you feel quite at home.

If you’re into gaming like me you really should check this title out. Lost Planet 2 belongs on my hotlist of very awesome games like: God of War III, Devil May Cry 4 and Gears of War 2.

With it’s fast action, smooth real life motion and powered by the brand new MT-Framework 2.0 makes this game is a real gem drop. I hope the rumors of a Xbox 360 exclusive are untrue.

If you’re been living in a cave and haven’t yet seen the trailer please do, also watch the HD version and not the “I-can’t-produce-normal-quality” Flash version. ;). No thumbs up or thumbs down because the games hasn’t been released yet. But I am very excited by what I have seen so far.

We’re totally hooked at this game! You can stare and gaze over minutes at the same picture and still not see that pesky lobster. We played all available episodes in one breath or shall I say in a couple of days? My girlfriend is a true sherlock in the making. ;)

Blizzard's StarCraft 2

As a die-hard gamer, I’m a Blizzard lover. 1. They make excellent games with cinematic game experiences. 2. They always release their games simultaneously for Mac and PC. 3. Just, fun. Blizzard for anyone who’ve might have missed it; has released StarCraft 2. As usual, I was blown away by the quality of their game art.

I hope they will make a movie sometime?! I’m not even going to describe the game just sit back, pump-up your volume and enjoy the ride… Here’s the gorgeous the cinematic trailer.

God Of War 2 DVD cover

After playing God Of War we had to buy the sequel! It was released a little bit later then previous anticipated but this will keeps us busy for a couple of days. ;)
