There’s simply nothing quite like the Vestalife Ladybug. Flip out the speaker “wings” on this sleek, high-tech device and you have an iPod-based entertainment system featuring a built-in sub-woofer for lots of bass, a digital amplifier and one of the coolest soft-touch finishes you’ve ever experienced. Sit it on a counter. Take it with you. The Vestalife Ladybug is designed to be part of your life.

Never Forget. Never Forgive.

New trailer WALL•E

WALL-E trailer 2

Apple has just released (on their trailer website) the second WALL•E trailer. This trailer reveals more detail on the movie and Luxo + WALL•E are also part of this one. I think we have an other winner on our hand…

On Hit Wonders

Dexter TV Serie

A friend at work said I should watch this TV serie called Dexter. My first reaction was Dexter’s Laboratory? Dexter is an American television drama series based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay and adapted for television by Emmy Award-winning screenwriter James Manos, Jr. The show premiered on October 1, 2006 and has since enjoyed wide critical acclaim. Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) plays the character of Dexter Morgan, a Miami-based serial killer who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst. Interesting twist ay ;)

Californication TV Serie

I don’t watch TV regularly but he pointed me to some good stuff (thanks Rodi): like Californication with David Duchovny (X-Files), who plays Hank Moody, a troubled novelist whose move to Los Angeles and has problems with his job and a complicated relationship with his ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone) and daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin). I love these series so much, I watch almost every day an episode on my iPod Touch.

Where’s The Beef?

iPod Touch

I am the lucky owner of an iPod touch. I’ve bought the device for mobile entertainment (music & video). Apple delivers a very crappy user experience with their QuickTime Trailers site: I can’t play their default trailers, I am being forwarded to their ’special’ iPhone section, where I get the ultimate-postage-stamp-sized-crappy-compressed trailer there is available. Maybe it’s one-size-fits-all concept isn’t bad for the “iPod fatty” user, but the quality on my iPod is shameful! What happened to all those lovely pixels? Let me decide if I want to download the 640×336 version or the 320×172 version. I can do it on my desktop, so why not on my iPod? Okay, 320×172 is small, but that doesn’t mean that the quality has to be so crappy!
So think you can do better huh…! Well yeah! I haven’t got the RAW-DV footage but I’ve taken the 480p version to show my point. Even the recompressed material is better then theirs. Here’s are the two files for comparison: the original Cloverfield Trailer (320) versus the recompressed Cloverfield Trailer (640). Just put them on your iPod for comparisment. ;)

WALL•E

WALL•E

The year is 2700. WALL•E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for.

WALL•E

It will be released in the summer of 2008 and to be even more precise 27 june, as you can see on the above poster. If you can’t wait until it’s release date here’s the Trailer.
On the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) I’ve discovered a very nice detail watch Luxo (the lamp) carefully. I think WALL•E is a must see!

Failure Is An Option

When a overconfident teen alien gets behind the controls of a spaceship, he must attempt to abduct a slumbering farmer under the watchful eye of a critical instructor.

But abducting humans requires precision and a gentle touch, and within a few missteps it’s painfully clear why humans don’t go missing every year. This is the latest short film from Pixar Animation Studios. You’ve to see this one it’s really great!
