MacGyverisms

MacGyver MultiTool

MacGyver is an adventure television series, produced in Canada, about the laid-back, extremely resourceful secret agent Angus MacGyver played by Richard Dean Anderson. The series was created by Lee David Zlotoff and executive produced by Henry Winkler (The Fonz) and John Rich. It ran for seven seasons from September 29, 1985 to May 21, 1992. I am missing the resourcefulness in the film industry. Blockbusters like the first Star Wars saga and Alien were filmed on a ‘tight’ budget, but came out great. Nowadays films start at couple of billion gazillion dollars, but all they produce is crap (give or take a few). This MacGyver MultiTool reminded me of the simplicity of using ’stuff’ at your own advantage and I find it very funny :D

Little shop of (horror) treasures

Little Shop Of Treasures

We’re totally hooked at this game! You can stare and gaze over minutes at the same picture and still not see that pesky lobster. We played all available episodes in one breath or shall I say in a couple of days? My girlfriend is a true sherlock in the making. ;)

I made her an offer she couldn’t refuse

Cavalia

I have been very busy these days! We did a lot of pitches at the company I’m currently employed with. For relaxation I gave my girlfriend a Ticket Deluxe for Cavalia. Before the show we could enjoy a nice glass of champagne (or other drinks) I had chosen the Palm Royal (man did it hit me). After 15 min we went inside the “big white giant tent” called the “Big Top” with room for up to 2000 seats. The show was magical, all the seasons were visualized. The winter was “breathtaking”. It’s amazing and fascinating to see the bond between human beings an horses. It was a mixture of dramatic visual effects, live music, dance, humor and acrobatics. There were over thirty magnificent horses at the show, including the famous and incredible Lusitano stallions. After the shows we could visit the stables and got a Audio CD and a calendar. We really enjoyed this well deserved evening together.

HELL, IT’S ABOUT TIME

Blizzard's StarCraft 2

As a die-hard gamer, I’m a Blizzard lover. 1. They make excellent games with cinematic game experiences. 2. They always release their games simultaneously for Mac and PC. 3. Just, fun. Blizzard for anyone who’ve might have missed it; has released StarCraft 2. As usual, I was blown away by the quality of their game art.

StarCraft 2 Marine

I hope they will make a movie sometime?! I’m not even going to describe the game just sit back, pump-up your volume and enjoy the ride… Here’s the gorgeous the cinematic trailer.

Ladies & gentlemen…we got him!

God Of War 2 DVD cover

After playing God Of War we had to buy the sequel! It was released a little bit later then previous anticipated but this will keeps us busy for a couple of days. ;)

No DRM at a price

Die Another Day

God Of War 2

The sequel to the best game ever God Of War. Kratos will be fighting again against mythical creatures like the three-headed dog Cerebus, a one-eyed giant cyclops and a flying Gryphon.
Kratos will also be seen riding on the eagle Griffon. Check out these amazing video’s of the actual gameplay on Gamespot.
The God Of War II is set in ancient Greece and has better looks and appeal than it’s predecessor. So Kratos lives to die another day.
According to sources it will be released in the market on March 13, 2007.
