Our days have been a bit hectic lately, not because of our new born son, but because of all the nice people who: vis­ited, send cards, send e-mails, flow­ers and presents. Thank you all so much we have been over­whelmed by all the atten­tion and my sin­cere apolo­gies for those who had to bail-​out at my request. I had to manage the number of people who called and tried to visit us. Tris­tan and Mar­ijke need their rest. Tris­tan is now 16 days old, he weights 4.4 kg (9,7 pounds) and is about 57 cm (22,5 inch). This morn­ing I grabbed my trusty SLR (Canon EOS 350D) and took some pic­tures of him laying on our bed.

I am happy to say that I’ve become a father. Our boy (Tris­tan) is called after a medieval romance Tris­tan and Iseult. I’m going to bed now because I am exhausted.

Just in case you’ve been living in a cave, ladies and gen­tle­men it’s Super Bowl Sunday! The NFL (National Foot­ball League) is proud to intro­duce Super Bowl XLII: The New Eng­land Patri­ots vs the New York Giants.
They will meet in Ari­zona on Feb­ru­ary 3, 2008 at Uni­ver­sity of Phoenix Sta­dium in Glen­dale to do battle over the cov­eted Vince Lom­bardi trophy and to decide which team gets to wear their Super Bowl rings. Super Bowl also nick­named the “Big Party” or the “Big Game” a pro­fes­sional Amer­i­can foot­ball cham­pi­onship game event of the NFL. It’s fes­tiv­i­ties con­sti­tute Super Bowl Sunday, which over the years has become the most-​watched U.S. tele­vi­sion broad­cast of the year, and has become likened to a de facto U.S. national hol­i­day.
So it’s time to get out those snacks, enjoy the biggest foot­ball game of the year and live that couch potato’s dream!

Finally I’ve made the jump to CS3. I had post­poned the upgrade because I haven’t had time to do any research what kind of impact it would have for back­wards com­pat­i­bil­ity. There was an Adobe Live Event at the Ams­ter­dam RAI Con­ven­tion Centre, where all the latest facts were unleashed by highly qual­i­fied Adobe people. There were sem­i­nars about the prod­ucts, so I found it was time to do the upgrade and join the 21st century.
