To be gone, Tobago

Trinidad Tobago Flag

This year we went on vacation during the summer holidays. Destination: Tobago (the smaller of the two main islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago) located in the southern Caribbean Sea just outside the hurricane belt. We had a wonderful time full of lovely cocktails, food, people, a jungle trip and lots of snorkeling (in any random order). The people are very nice and warm and environment-friendly-aware. Two third of the island is made up of nature reserves and only one third is inhabited.

Turtle On Beach

We took a comfort-class flight which I can recommend to anyone who wants to fly for more then 7 hours. We were quite fit when we arrived. We went snorkeling one hour after we had arrived. Next year I want to get my scuba diving license, I am infected by the beauty of the underwater world. More images later after I’ve set-up my photo album. For now I am back to business :( I am gonna miss the Caribbean (…and rum) :)

Summer Break

Suitcase

I will be taking a well deserved break so you shouldn’t expect any posts until September/October… Hasta luego mi amigos.

I made her an offer she couldn’t refuse

Cavalia

I have been very busy these days! We did a lot of pitches at the company I’m currently employed with. For relaxation I gave my girlfriend a Ticket Deluxe for Cavalia. Before the show we could enjoy a nice glass of champagne (or other drinks) I had chosen the Palm Royal (man did it hit me). After 15 min we went inside the “big white giant tent” called the “Big Top” with room for up to 2000 seats. The show was magical, all the seasons were visualized. The winter was “breathtaking”. It’s amazing and fascinating to see the bond between human beings an horses. It was a mixture of dramatic visual effects, live music, dance, humor and acrobatics. There were over thirty magnificent horses at the show, including the famous and incredible Lusitano stallions. After the shows we could visit the stables and got a Audio CD and a calendar. We really enjoyed this well deserved evening together.

Jobportunities

Bright Alley Interactive Communication

I have been free-lancing for a while now and it’s time again to start working on my carreer!
I have had two interviews at two different companies. Bright Alley Interactive Communication and Radio538 Interactive (a dutch radio station). Earlier I cancelled an interview at a dutch broadcasting company.
Both interviews were very pleasant! At Bright Alley Interactive Communication works an ex-co-worker from the pulse.interactive days (internet-bubble-dotCOM)! Now it was up to me to choose between them, It’s a luxurious problem (I know) but I can tell you I found it very difficult to choose! In the end Bright Alley IC won. Why, you might ask simply because they gave me that dotCOM feeling I’ve missed over these years. So here’s to a Bright Future!

You’re Fired! :-(

You're fired

Today I got fired! A suprise? No not really!!! Our whole department got canned! Sadly really lousy management and sales caused it! So I’m job-hunting as of today, I got some good leads so we’ll see…

Back From The Caribbean

Marijke and I in the Caribbean

We just came back from our lovely vacation at the caribbean. Man do I love it! The people are relaxed, the water is crystal clear (not like the sky), fresh fruit every day and the rum, the rum is always gone. ;)

Off To The Caribbean

Dominican Republic

We are very excited, we’re going again to the caribbean this year! This time we will go to the Dominican Republic at the right-side of Haiti. We will be landing on the airport of Santo Domingo and go from there to our hotel. See ya later man!
